OUR PROCESS
At Musser Home Builders, we take a passionate, forward-thinking, detail-oriented, and uncompromising approach to achieve outstanding results that last for a lifetime. While there are many unique details that go into each build, we follow the same general steps for each build. STEP 1: Contact Us
Before we meet to talk about your project, we will need some preliminary information.
Please fill out our Project Questionnaire to the best of your ability.
Upon review, we’ll contact you to discuss your project.
STEP 2: We’ll Reach Out
After receiving your questionnaire, we’ll reach out via a phone call to discuss your project.
We’ll be prepared with our own questions & hope you’ll have a few for us! It’s important to have an open discussion about your project goals, your expectations of us, and to talk about general budgets so each of us can be sure we’re the right builder for your project.
STEP 3: Let’s Meet
After our initial phone call, we’ll set up a meeting to dive deeper into the details.
Come prepared with any drawings, inspirational photos, or other details you’ve been dreaming up! During this meeting, we’ll continue to gather information, dream of possibilities, and be a helpful resource answering any home building questions you may have.
STEP 4: Planning Begins
We’ll put together a Feasibility Study, provide you with a basic Conceptual Plan, and develop a Budget Estimate. If both parties agree to move forward, we’ll enter the Comprehensive Project Evaluation, where we’ll invest a lot of time into developing construction plans, project specifications, and selections of finishes. Every detail of your project will be determined before construction starts. This allows for an enjoyable experience that is on budget & on schedule with zero surprises.
STEP 5: Activation!
Once you have approved the design and scope of work, we will prepare a contract. The plans, specifications sheet, and contract will be signed by you and Musser Home Builders (if a lender is involved, they will require a copy of these documents).
Then, your new project will officially be underway!
